Portrait of Guy Broadhurst

I'm a First-Class mathematics graduate and former management consultant, about to start an MBA at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. My two years at Newton Impact spanned the UK public sector, defence, grocery retail, and consumer goods — including a supply-chain crisis response for a major multinational after the destruction of a large US distribution warehouse, and as a major contributor on Newton's first-ever US engagement — a diagnostic that identified $31–64m in logistics optimisation opportunities for a global consumer goods company.

Before consulting, I spent sixteen months with Club Med in Japan — first as a certified ski instructor at Tomamu in Hokkaido, then as a professional circus performer at Kabira in Ishigaki — working in five languages in a fast-paced, international guest-facing environment.

I'm drawn to the intersection of analytics, operations, and international business, with a particular interest in East Asia. I hold JLPT N4 in Japanese and am actively studying Mandarin, having attended Tsinghua University as a Summer Fellow in 2025.

Outside work I've represented Scotland at water polo through every age group and currently vice-captain Portobello WPC — the reigning Scottish Cup holders.
